The Parade of Horribles

05 January 2018

The American Association for Justice (AAJ) has just released its annual report: “Worst Corporate Conduct of 2017” – and it is appalling reading. Here is the link: https://www.justice.org/sites/default/files/_Justice/Communications/Corporate%20Misconduct%202017%20FINAL.pdf

This is the sort of conduct that that keeps people awake at night. Callous, unfeeling, greedy, and hurtful. This is why the tort system – the only system which lets the wrongfully injured hold the wrongdoer accountable – is so important.

AAJ “works to preserve the constitutional right to trial by jury and to make sure people have a fair chance to receive justice through the legal system when they are injured by the negligence or misconduct of others—even when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.” The members of AAJ do important work; work that by holding corporations accountable for dangerous and unsafe products, benefits all of us.

Good for AAJ for reporting on this, in this manner.
